  14. From what I remember (David Pleasance told me) what happened was CU Amiga 
  15. pressed the disk and published the mag with ReloKick and the 1.3ROM on. 
  16. They realised their mistake too late and contacted C= UK for permission 
  17. to distribute the kickstart AFTER it had already gone out to distribution.

  19. C= UK, being in a sorry state at the time, didn't have much choice but to 
  20. let them publish it (whether Pleasance had the right to at the time is 
  21. questionable - it's all history now anyway). I'm not sure if any money 
  22. changed hands between CU Amiga and C=.

  24. Anyway, CU Amiga did, sort of, get permission to publish the Kick1.3 
  25. image, but that's very, very, unlikely to happen again and, as has been 
  26. pointed out, it's certainly not PD.
